Preservation must be long term. We all know what happened with short term storage means like Floppy drives, CDs, DVDs etc. Due to rapid changes in technology, there is no guarantee that the current hot technology will survive after a few years. The technology landscape changes so rapidly that it’s difficult to keep pace with it. So, the question is, how can we rely on any technology to safeguard our data? The answer to this question has been solved by Dr Mukund and his team.
