The surface is tumultuous. There is stillness at the depths. Only in the depths do we find pearls. The Vedas have fathomless depths. No one can go the full extent. But based on our capacities, we can try to learn from an experienced expert diver who can bring us these pearls. Without the anugraha of a Guru who is a representative of the Guru parampara and the Infinite one, we cannot progress in the spiritual path. These discourses/pravachanas/pearls of wisdom are triggers for us to contemplate, understand, and apply in our daily lives. They cannot be taken as some spiritual entertainment. Listening to them intently (Shravana), deeply contemplating(manana) and applying them in our daily lives (Nidhidhyasana) are extremely essential for our spiritual growth.
